Welcome! My name is Shaquita Mon'et Malloy. I am 13 years old. I live in North Carolina and I attend Townsend Middle School where I am in the eighth grade. I was born and raised in North Caorlina, and this is where I have lived all of my life. I love to read, write, and stand up for others who are treated unkind and unfair. My lifelong dream is to become a lawyer and become a creative journalist, attend Havard University wher I will get a Ph.D. in law, and own my own chain of law offices in North Carolina. I love to read. My favorite authors are Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes, Judy Blume, Toni Morrison, Terry McMillian, Virginia Hamilton, Lois Lowery, and Gary Paulsen. My favorite book is The Giver by Lois Lowery. It's about a boy that is selected to be the giver of memories but after being given the meories of pain, love , and lost he learns to see the world is not all in black and white. My favorite Music artist is Erykah Badu. I love all of her music. She is such a positive role model for stuggling artist. My favorite song is "Ye Yo." My favorite food is stuffed porked chops, collard greens, home made biscuits, molasses, fatback meat, home made backed macaroni, and a chocolate cake from scratch. In other words I love soul food. My favorite movie, and this might sound odd is "Lady Sings The Blues." It's so inspiring and so sad, because Billie Holiday was so talented, but ther was always Heroine and Morphine to bring her down. I belong to a clique called the Passion Fruit Clique Inc. It's just me and a bunch of my friends hanging together tightly. The group includes my best friend Kamron Johnson A.K.A. Raspberry, Tiffany McCallum A.K.A. Peaches, Latisa Buie A.K.A. Star, Teala Stanton A.K.A. Juicy, and I Shaquita Malloy A.K.A Kiwi. It's kind of preparing me for college because I want to become a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. I belong to a family of four other girls. My parensts are Loretta Malloy | and Kenneth Morrison. I have one older sister, and the other three are younger than I. The majority of my family lives in my neighborhood. My grand mother, my uncle and his wife, my cousins, etc. We are all very close and I really enjoy having cookouts in the summer time with them.
